What Are Cookies?

Cookies are small text files placed on your device by a website, used to store information between page visits or to transmit data back to the site.

Cookies We Use

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use this website. Google Analytics is loaded with Google’s Consent Mode v2 set to denied by default, which means no analytics cookies or identifiers are placed on your device unless you click “Accept” on the cookie banner shown on your first visit.

When you accept analytics cookies, Google Analytics sets the following first-party cookies on the prmtourism.com domain:

CookiePurposeDuration
_gaDistinguishes unique users2 years
_ga_<container-id>Persists session state for the analytics property2 years

We also store your consent choice in your browser’s localStorage under the keys cookie-consent and cookie-consent-date, so we don’t ask again on every visit. This entry expires after 365 days, after which the banner reappears.

Our contact form is powered by Formspree, which processes your submission server-side. No cookie is placed on your device by the form itself.

In addition to Google Analytics, we use Vercel Analytics and Vercel Speed Insights, both of which operate without cookies. Rather than setting a persistent identifier, Vercel derives anonymised, aggregated metrics by hashing a combination of the incoming request’s IP address and user-agent string — a signal that changes daily and cannot be used to identify you across sessions or sites.

Your Choice and How to Change It

When you first visit this site, a banner asks whether you accept or reject analytics cookies.

  • Accept: Google Analytics is granted permission to set the cookies described above and report your interactions to Google.
  • Reject: Google Analytics continues to run in cookieless mode under Consent Mode v2. Modelled, aggregated traffic signals may still be sent to Google, but no cookies or persistent identifiers are stored on your device and no personal data is collected.

You can change your choice at any time by clicking the small cookie-settings button at the bottom-left of any page, which re-opens the banner.

Under the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations 2003 (PECR) and the UK GDPR, we obtain your consent before setting any non-essential cookies. The banner is that consent mechanism.

Third-Party Services and Their Data Practices

The following external services process data as part of delivering this website. We encourage you to review their privacy notices for full details:

Of these, only Google Analytics sets cookies on your device, and only after you accept on the consent banner.

Controlling Cookies in Your Browser

You retain full control over cookies in your browser. Most modern browsers allow you to view, block, and delete cookies through their settings — typically found under Privacy, Security, or Advanced options. Consult your browser’s help documentation for specific instructions.

Blocking all cookies will not affect your ability to use this website, as we do not rely on them for any functionality. It will simply prevent Google Analytics from setting the cookies described above (which has the same effect as clicking “Reject” on the banner).

Changes to This Policy

We will update this Cookie Policy if our use of cookies or similar technologies changes. The effective date below reflects the most recent revision.
